OUR STORY
Tutton and Young Ltd organise contemporary art and craft events across the UK. We are a small dedicated team run by organiser Jon Tutton and artist and maker Sarah Young. Now with over 20 years experience, we hope to support makers and artists by providing the very best events we can.
Our journey began together when we started the Odyssey travelling puppet theatre. Since then, in addition to making and selling art and craft, we have become organisers of the much loved Brighton Art Fair, and Made London - Angel and Made Brighton Design and Crafts fairs.
In 2016 we set up Atelier 51 studios and a studio shop in Providence Place, Brighton comprising 4 studios, the Tutton and Young ‘HQ’ and our shop stocking makers from the British Isles and sometimes beyond.
In 2021 we moved the shop to much larger premises on Brighton Beach to establish Atelier Beside The Sea a Gallery, Shop, and teaching and event space.

The ATELIER OPEN is becoming a much loved part of the Brighton Art Calender We’re again throwing open the doors to the artists of Brighton and beyond for our third OPEN – an exhibition that is open to anyone over the age of 16 to apply and open to (almost) any subject and method.
Applications are now open to exhibit at this popular summer show. Apply here before midnight 30th May
